Chemical oil refinery method process: Degumming section
After pressing process, there will exists some impurities in the crude oil, which need to be removed. In this degumming section, we use the aqueous method to dissolve the impurities like gum, protein and phospholipids by washing the crude oil for 2-3 times with hot water.
Neutralizing section
The neutralizing section is for neutralizing the free fatty acids, which is called deacidification section as well. The free fatty acid is harmful to human health, so it should be removed. The caustic soda is used in this section to saponify the free fatty acid to be soap stock, thus the small soap granule will sink and be pumped out.
Decolorizing section
Due to the existing of carotene,etc, the color of most crude oil is dark. The bleaching clay has strong absorbing ability to be used for absorb the pigment in the crude oil, an after filtering the clay, the pigments will be removed and the color of oil will be brighter than before.
Deodorizing/bleaching section
crude oil has some smell odor. The deodorizing section aims to remove the special odor of the crude oil which cause by the volatile matters, like the oxide for aldehydes, ketones, hydrocarbons, so we use the steam to absorb the odor in this section and make the volatile matters remove out with the steam.

The metered crude oil is filtered by the pump through the filter, and then sent to the heat exchanger for heating. For the oil with high acid value, the chemical deacidification of low temperature light alkali is carried out first. After the heated oil is mixed with the alkali liquor of certain concentration through the centrifugal mixer, it enters the alkali reaction retention tank for acid-base neutralization.
After the reaction, it enters the centrifugal separator, and the oil is separated from the soap foot (or oil foot) in the
high-speed rotating centrifuge. The separated oil also contains a certain amount of residual soap, which is mixed and washed by adding a certain amount of hot water, and then separated from soap-containing wastewater by centrifuge. Only the oil with low acid value is subject to hydration degumming. The oil after hydration degumming enters the physical deacidification section for physical deacidification after decolorization, which can minimize refining loss.
Full continuous refining decolorization section After washing, the degumming and deacidification oil pump enters the vacuum dryer
for water drying, and the dried oil enters the intermediate storage tank after cooling by the cooler.The oil after degumming and deacidification is decolorized in the decolorization section. After the decolorized oil enters the mixing tank and heater, the oil entering the mixing tank is mixed with the clay after being quantified by the clay quantifier, and then enters the decolorization tower for adsorption and decolorization together with some of the heated oil. The oil and clay mixture after the decolorization reaction is pumped into the vane filter for filtration to remove the waste clay in the oil The vibrating filters are connected in parallel to realize the continuity of the process. The filtered oil enters the intermediate storage tank for deodorization after being cooled and safely filtered by the cooler.
Full continuous refining deodoriztion section :The odor components of the decolorized oil are removed in the deodorization section. After being metered, the deodorized oil enters the gas separator for vacuum removal of the air in the oil, it is pumped out by the extraction pump, heated by the oil-oil heat exchanger, heated by the mineral oil heater to 240 ℃~265 ℃, and enters the deodorization tower from the top to remove the fatty acid and odor components in the oil, and the light phase components enter the fatty acid capture section for direct heat exchange, and the captured low-molecular organic substances enter the fatty acid
circulation tank for circulation and capture. The deodorized oil is pumped from the bottom of the tower through the extraction pump to enter the oil - oil heat exchanger and the oil to be deodorized from the gas separator for heat exchange, and then enters the cooler for cooling.
